Come join us in-person to learn the basics of bookkeeping in a fun group setting!
This workshop is designed for small business owners, new bookkeepers, and those ready to start a small business. If you’re interested in understanding and maintaining your own books, but need some help, this workshop is for you!
Workshops will be held on Fridays each month at the Maui Research and Technology Park Meeting Room located upstairs, mauka side, at 590 Lipoa Parkway, Kihei from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.
Workshops will cover a variety of information including:
Understanding the Chart of Accounts
Recording Transactions
Reconciling Accounts
Reviewing and Analyzing Financial Statements
Payroll and Payroll Taxes
Adjustments and GETs

Workshops will be structured as follows:
1 – 1.5 hours of education/instruction/Q&A.
1.5 - 2 hours of independent work with guidance and assistance from a professional bookkeeper with 20 years of experience!
Please remember to bring your laptop, notebook, and questions.
Instructor is well-versed in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, but this workshop is designed to be useful with any accounting software.
